Collabify

Dispute Policy

When things go wrong, Collabify steps in.

48-hour resolution SLA. Evidence-based rulings. Escrow stays locked until it's resolved.

How dispute resolution works

01

File a dispute

Either party can open a dispute from the order page. You have up to 7 days after the delivery deadline to file. Provide your evidence — screenshots, revision requests, delivery links.

02

Collabify reviews within 48 hours

Our team reviews all submitted evidence from both sides. We may ask clarifying questions. Funds remain locked in escrow during this period — neither party can access them.

03

Ruling is issued

Collabify issues a binding ruling: full release to creator, partial release, or full refund to brand. The ruling is based solely on evidence and the original brief terms.

04

Funds move within 24 hours

Whatever the ruling, funds are disbursed within 24 hours of the decision. No further appeals unless fraud is demonstrated.

Common questions

What counts as valid grounds for a dispute?

Failure to deliver by deadline, deliverables that materially differ from the agreed brief, or refusal to provide agreed revisions. Disputes based on subjective taste ("I don't like the vibe") are not upheld if the brief was followed.

Can a creator file a dispute?

Yes. If a brand refuses to approve or respond for 7+ days after delivery of compliant work, the creator can escalate. Collabify will review and release funds if the work matches the brief.

What evidence should I submit?

Screenshots of messages, the original brief, delivery links, revision request records, and timestamps. The more documented, the faster the ruling.

Is the ruling final?

Yes, unless you can demonstrate fraud or a material factual error in the ruling. We take accuracy seriously and review all evidence carefully before deciding.

How are partial refunds handled?

If partial work was delivered and accepted, Collabify may rule a proportional split — e.g. 60% to creator for partial delivery, 40% refunded to brand. Both parties are notified with reasoning.
